The pie charts provided gives the information regarding the percentage distribution of the saturation of nutrients in the four different meals of the day, that could be life-threatning, if over-consumed in the United States of America (USA).
Overall, it is evident that for the dinner, sodium and saturated fat topped the list; whereas, the highest amount of added sugar was seen in the snacks.
First of all, for the meals in the dinnner, sodium was seen to be used significantly most at 43% compared to all the other meals, which followed by saturated fat at 37% and added sugar at 23%. However, all the unhealthy nuterients were noticed to be the lowest for the breakfast, accounting for 14%, 16%, and 16% for sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar respectively.
Comparatively, added sugar (42%) was three times of that of the sodium (14%) in the snacks. In lunch, the nutrient values of lunch meals were higher when compared to others; for instance, 29% sodium, which was almost the double when compared to the breakfast and snacks. And that followed by 26% saturated fat, and 19% added sugar.
