The first graph illustrates the percentage of households that use electrical appliances. Whereas, the second line chart depicts the number of hours consumed by family. It shows that both data were plotted every 20 years during 1920-2019.

In general, households that used home appliances rose every 2 decades in all types, namely washing machines, refrigerators, and vacuum cleaners. In contrast, the weekly consumption of housework in each household continuously decreased in all periods.

In 1920, the majority of electrical house used in this country is washing machines (around 40%), followed by vacuum cleaner with 30%, and no household used refrigerator during this year. However, the trend became shift in 1940. Many households started used refrigerator and touch the same point with refrigerator at 50%. The same case occurred at 1960, between washing machine and vacuum cleaner which vacuum cleaner started to over take washing machine position. In the end of 2019, the most favourite housework used to support their cleaning are refrigerator and washing machine. Meanwhile, washing machine was in the last tool.

The trend of time consumed to do house work remaining decrease year by year. Between 1920-1960, the gradient of trend was steeply decrease, around 30%. However, starting 1960 to 2019, the decreased started steady. In the end of period, only 10% households doing housewhork.
