The barchart displays the surveyed results on houseing preferences for those citizens in three UK cities and show that the highest percentage was for apartments in Liverpool. The percentages for semi-detached houses in London and Manchestert shared the same figure.
When looking at Liverpool, the largest proportion of people in the survey prefer to live in apartments. The figure stood at around 58% which was far higher than for the other types of housing. The next highest figures were for semi-detached houses and detached houses, which were around 18% and 15% respectively. Meanwhile, the figure of individuals who prefer to live in terraced houses was the lowest figure compared to the other types at about 9% and was the lowest figure on the graph overall.
Regarding London and Manchester, the data shows that the majority surveyed citizens prefer to live in semi-detached houses, at approximately 38%. In comparison, the figures for detached houses were about 3% lower in Manchester and 13% lower in London. In addition, the figure for those people who prefer to live in apartments was around 29%, which was 10% higher than that for terraced houses in London. While in Manchester, the figure stood at 19% for apartments and about 8% higher for terraced houses.
