Overall, it is evident that percentage of the food budget spent on restaurant meals gradually increased with each successive year, while home cooking experienced a steady decline to the end of the period which remained the same proportion of spent.
In 1970, spending time on restaurant with around 10%, when home cooking was a popular to just over 90%. However, spending time on resaurant started to rise dramatically from 15% to 35% in both next year, untill this food budget spent on restaurant showed the same proportion as a home cooking, at about 50%. In contrast, the line graph demonstrates that fastfood meals and sitdowm restaurant meals accounted for 20 and consistently had the different number of meals in 1980. Furthermore, sitdown restaurant meals increased steadily, peaking in 2000 at 40. Fastfood continued to grow steadily, peaking at nearly 90 at the end of the year.
