The data shows the average household expenses in Japan and Malaysia in 2010. Overall, Japanese spend the highest expenditure on good services and others while Malaysians on housing.
By the year of 2010, Japanese spent their biggest expenses on good services and other accounting for 29% followed by food with 24%. Accommodation on the other hand, were listed for the third highest rank of expenditure about 21% of the whole money allocation. Transport expenses were quite similar to housing only 1% below while only 6% of Japan people used their budget for health care.
In contrast, Malaysian people used their budget mostly on housing about one third. Food, in this term became the second highest expenditure with 27% followed by good services and other accounting for 20%. Similar to the Japanese people, transport and health care were among 2 lowest expenses using about 10% and 6% of their annual budget.
