The pie charts illustrate the comparison of several types of power generation in France from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, it is clear that gas and coal were the most produced sources of energy in the review period. Whereas, nuclear and other sources of energy productions showed the lower percentages.
Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that gas recorded a minimal increase to almost 1% from 1995 through to 2005. Similarly, coal registered similar percentage rise in the review period. In contrast, petrol, which started at just under less than a third in 1995, saw a considerable decline, ending up at almost a fifth in 2005.
Turning to the remaining sorts of energy production, nuclear accounted for 6.40% of total energy production, followed by a gradual rise of 4% in the year 2005. A similar pattern can be seen in other types of energy productions, where the figure had a moderate grow from 4.90% to 9.10% between 1995 and 2005.
