Overall, a glance at the graphs reveals that all family groups started at different levels. Additionally, while the low and high-income both consistently increased, the middle-income group experienced a one-time drop.
In detail, during the first period, high, medium and low-income families started at 600 dollars, 400 dollars and 200 dollars of monthly expenses, repectively. After 5 years, the high-income family group had its significant increase of around 100 dollars, its continue to rise until it reached 700 dollars in 2010 where it remain the same for the next 5 years before slightly increase again until 2020.
In term of middle-income group, it rose to almost 450 dollars for the next decade, however, in 2015, it experienced a sudden drop to its orginal amount before rising again up to 500 dollars last period. Lastly, the low-income families had the highest increase among 3 categories, for about 10 years, it only went up for 10 dollars, but form then on, it skyrocketed within 5 years and reach double of its starting amount and in the last period, in continued to rise to 450 dollars.
