The bar illustrates the different of spending money on researching by companies related to medicine from 2012 to 2022. Broadly speaking all organisations increased their spending after 10 yars.
To begin with, Novas shows the most dramatic rise. In 2012, it spent less than $20 billion, but by 2022 this number almost tripled, reaching nearly $60 billion. It became the biggest investor among all five companies. Fleming also showed a noticeable increase, from about $10 billion in 2012 to around $35 billion in 2022. Other companies like Biopharm and Avicenna had similar growth — both started from $10 billion and reached about $30 billion in 2022. Pharm invested the least compared to others but still grew from a very low point to approximately $22 billion.
In conclusion, all five companies raised their research budgets over time, with Novas being the most active one. The general trend is that pharmaceutical firms put increasingly more and more money into their research, probably the reason for such changes is growing health demands and technologies.
