At first glance, it is readily discernible that Latin speakers had the highest SAT scores of the four language speaker groups, above the average for all students. Additionally, Math was always the skill with the best grades except for Latin speakers.
It can be seen that reading scores for Latin speakers peaked at nearly 560 points, followed by that for French speakers at 520 points. In addition, reading scores for Spanish and Italian speakers shared the same figures, at 500 points. At the same time, the average reading score of all students was the lowest, at about 500 points. Moreover, Latin speakers’ math scores also topped the list with just under 650 points; it was still followed by that of French speakers, at over 520 points. There was an insignificant gap between the math scores of Spanish, and Italian speakers and all students, approximately more than 500 points.
Regarding other statistics, SAT writing scores are always at the bottom, and writing scores of Latin speakers were still dominant, at about 540 points. Second in the ranking was the Writing score of French speakers, at 510 points, which was 20 points higher than that of Spanish and Italian speakers (around 490 points). Meanwhile, the average writing score of all students was quite low, only about 480 points.
