The table compares information about ticket sales for five different theatrical and musical performances at the National Theater over a six-month period, from January to June.
Overall, it can be seen that theatrical and comedic performances were the most popular, whereas opera and classical musical performances attracted the smallest number of viewers.
The National Mime Troupe achieved the largest number tickets sold with their show “Humorous Situations”, selling approximately 5.000 tickets. It was followed by two shows with the same number of ticket sales: Swan Lake by City Ballet and “Rock Stars Live!” by Rock Stars Rock Band. Both of these events sold 4.750 tickets each.
On the other hand, fewer people bought tickets for classical musical shows. The National Symphony Orchestra sold 3.000 passes for “Works of Beethoven’ event. The lowest number of tickets was sold by City Opera for Carmen, with about only 2.500 tickets – half the amount recorded by the top-performing mime show.
