Regarding the given chart, the share of the 65+ age group was the lowest in 1960 and stayed stabilized until 1970, with roughly 5%, before gradually going up to around 15% in a thirty-year period. After 2000, this figure slowly rose up to 30% in 2020 which was stable in the next ten years and increased to 35% at the end of the period. Conversely, this data of the 0-14 age group significantly decreased, with 30% and 10% in 1960 and 2040, respectively. The population percentage of the 0-14 age group climbed to 35% in 1970, before sharply dropping to 20% in 2000 and declining gradually to 10%, which was the lowest share compared to other remaining groups in 2040. Additionally, the 25-64 age group accounted for 65% in 1960, being the highest proportion until 2040 although a fluctuation was recorded. This figure reached at 70% in both 1970 and 1990, before significantly falling to roughly 55% and experienced a recovery with around 57% at the end of the period.
