It is clear that the year 2010 attracted the most males and females taking part in fitness activities, the opposite was true for the year 2015. In addition, the biggest difference was in the number of male and female fitness membership in 2010.
In 1985, there were 1200 females participating in fitness centers, in comparison with 2200 males. In the next 5 years, the number of males increased significantly to 3800 before going down continuously to 1800 in 2000. In contrast, the figure of female fitness membership grew up sharply by 1600 over 15 years, even though it decreased slightly to 2600 in 1995.
In 2005, there was a nearly equal number of people from both genders embarking on fitness, with about 2100. After 5 years, a considerable rise to 5000 was witnessed in the figure of males, but later drop to 1000 which was the lowest in this period. The number of females had a fluctuation around 2000 from 2005 to 2015.
