The bar graph illustrates the quantity of energy generated by wind in several countries between 1985 and 2000. The data are presented in megawatts.
Overall, it can be observed that the United States had the highest level of that wind energy generation, while India had the lowest one. Another noteworthy point is that Denmark experienced significant changes over the period.
First and foremost, it is evident that the USA had the highest numbers from 1985 to 1995, with 1200 and 1600 respectively. Thereafter, it experienced a decline to approximately 1500. On the other hand, originally in the third place, Denmark increased dramatically from 400 in 1985 to over 1600 in 2000, surpassing the US and taking the first place.
For the other two countries, Germany showed a steady rise from around 400 megawatts in 1985 to nearly 900 in 2000. As for the last one, India also experienced an upward trend, with figures increasing from about 200 in 1985 to 850 in 2000. However, India still remained the lowest among all countries.
