Overall, the USA has the highest meat consumption per person, while Japan, China and Russian have significantly lower and quite similar figures. In addition, Europian contries such as Germany, France and Russia have medium level of meat consumption.
In details, the USA records the highest meat consumption, at around 120 kg per person. Germany follows with aproximately 80 kg per person which is about 30 kg lower than the figure for the USA. Moreover, Norway records with just around 59 kg per person, which is 10 kg less than France.
By contrast, it can be seen that meat consumption in Japan, China and Russia is considerably lower. These contries show the similar level, ranging almost 40-42 kg per person, while China slightly significantly higher than Japan and Russia.
