The bar chart shows an average annual salary which is earned by people in six different jobs in a certain country in 2000 and 2010. While the table gives information about the total earnings in the same years.
Overall, there were progresses of wages in each section, except tourism, which faced a slight decline in 2010. Similarly, the average value for all sectors also increased.In the chart, we can see that financial services was in the first rank in both periods, whilst the people in the tourism sector earned the smallest proportions.
As mentioned earlier, financial services and tourism were the most and the least earned fields, respectively. The former saw a significant growth, increasing from about $110 thousands in 2000 to $130 thousands, whereas the latter decreased slightly from $20 thousands.
The remaining four sectors also experienced increases. Telecommunications, for example, following financial section, increased a little and reached $65 thousands. Individuals who made a living in the other sectors, including administration, transport, and retail, obtained between $40-60 thousands in a year. Notably, peoples wages in shops saw a considerable increase by $11K.
As for the total values, those in 2000 were $44 k and progressed to $50 k in 2010.
