During the year 2000, the sectors with the highest average yearly income included Financial Services and Telecommunications, with Financial Services earning around 110 thousand dollars per worker and Telecommunications earning around 60 thousand dollars per worker. The Administration, Transport, and Retail sectors had similar figures, with each average annual salary at around 40 thousand dollars. Meanwhile, Tourism only earned 20 thousand dollars as the lowest-paying job.
Regarding the year 2010, most sectors had a slight increase in the period shown, except for Tourism. Financial Services not only remained in the highest position, but it also rose considerably, earning about 130 thousand dollars per year. Those working in Telecommunications, Transport, Administration, and the Retail sector had salaries higher than those in 2000, with around 70 thousand dollars for Telecommunications, around 50 thousand dollars for Transport, Administration, and Retail, respectively. In contrast, Tourism was the only job to have a decrease in annual salary.
