The given bar chart illustrates the average figure of everyday trips taken by 6 different kinds of transportation in 2 unsimilar year 1985 and 2015.
In general, it can be seen that the figure for daily journeys taken by subway, car, bicycle and foot increased sharply. The opposite pattern was seen in that of bus. In addition, the number of people travelling by train remained unchanged throughout the period.
In 1985, looking at the details, we can clearly inspect that the bus transport was responsible for the highest which stood at 60000. Following bus was car which took up to 35000. At the third place was foot which around over 20000. And the fourth widely used was subway which reaching about over 15000. The remaining two transport were train and bicycle and had the lowest number compared to the other four which stood at about 10000.
Finally, in 2015, we can observe that the number of people using the bus had noticeably declined to 40000 but still took the first place equal to foot transports. Next, the second rank was car which took up over 25000. Then, two transport which had the same data were subway and bicycle which stood at 20000 and the last one was train which still keeping the same data like the year 1985 and reached about 10000
