Overall, Sydney was the city with the most dominant amount of time spent commuting. In contrary, Adelaide was the city with the lowest amount of time regarding to travelling to work.
From 2002 to 2010, Sydney fluctuated between 35 to 40 minutes on average, with steady intervals from 2 to 3 minutes incremental. Additionally, Brisbane whose placed secondly, averaged about 25 to over 35 minutes to commute to workplace, with figures fluctuating from about 3 minutes.
Regarding the cities with lower figures, from 2002 to 2008, Perth dwellers only took about 25 minutes to travel to their workplace, after which it was observed a significant increase to over 33 minutes by the end of the period. Adelaide experienced a negligible surge from 2002 to 2008, starting roughly at 24 minutes to over 27 minutes, respectively, before falling to its initial number of 24 minutes by 2010.
