This bar chart compares differences in post-school types of qualifications accordingly to the gender, which contains those who graduated in 1999 in Australia.
Overall, there was a significant difference between men and women who received higher qualification. While males outnumbered in a Postgraduate field, females were correspondingly more active, reaching an undergraduate diploma.
Nevertheless, during this year ladies did receive a skilled vocational diploma nine times more than men of generation (90% and 10% respectively), comparing to the numbers of higher degrees, men’s showed way more better results.
Although, approximately 60% of men, amounting to 70% did receive the highest degree of diploma, while woman reached with only 40% at this point. In contrast, according to the figures, there was twice as many females than mails, that had an undergraduate tuition (70% and roughly 35% respectively).
Moreover, there was an approximately 10% difference between both genders reaching a Bachelor’s degree (55% female and 45% male, correspondingly).
