Overall, the percentage of genders varied in each post-school qualification. The highest proportion recorded by males in skilled vocational diploma, whereas the lowest figure experienced females, at same qualification.
It is apparent that males in skilled vocational diploma accounted for 90%, which was by far the greatest proportion over the period, while females illustrated the lowest figure, at around 10%. As for undergraduate diploma, girls were dominant at this qualification, with 70% and other percentage included for boys. Subsequently, the figures of genders were approximately the same in bachelor degree, accounting for 50% and 45%, male and female, respectively.
Lastly, comparing Australian genders between postgraduate diploma and master’s degree, the proportion of both men and women have a slight differences, at nearly 10% difference with males and females in 1999.
