Overall, it is clear that men dominated most categories while women just outnumbered men in Undergraduate Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree. The largest gender gap was seen in Skilled Vocational Diploma.
Looking at Skilled Vocational Diploma in detail, men held a much higher percentage than women, which was roughly nine times the number of women. Male accounted for 70%, which was also over twice as high as female in Postgraduate Diploma. The figure for men was higher than women in Masters Degree, with men and women standing at 40% and 60% respectively.
In contrast, women represented the majority in Undergraduate Diploma, around 70%, with the proportion of men just over 30%. For Bachelor’s Degree, the difference was small, with women at 50% and men at 45%.
