The given bar graph illustrates five different educational levels attained by both men and women of Australia in 1999.
Overall, men dominated the qualifications in three levels: vocational, postgraduate diplomas, and master’s degrees, whereas more women held undergraduate diplomas and bachelor’s degrees. Women seemed to hold undergraduate diplomas the most, whereas men in vocational diplomas.
There were one-tenth of female students taking a vocational diploma, and the rest were held by male students. On the contrary, undergraduate students had 7/10 women taking it, while only 30% of men took it. Additionally, there was only around a 10% difference in the number of both genders taking a bachelor’s degree, with more women than men. On the other hand, men dominated women, with 40% more of them taking a postgraduate diploma, with men taking 0.7 of the qualification. Moreover, 60 percent of men held a master’s degree, meanwhile women held 4/10 of it.
