Overall, employment rates have gone up in all the six regions, and in both years the percentage of working men is higher than that of females.
Among the six regions, Iceland had the highest employment rates of men in 1995 and 2005 with a little above 70 and 80 respectively, and the same is true for women in this conuntry, who reached almost 70 in 2005 and a little below 60 in 1995. Similarly, Switzerland holds the second spot for amount of workers in both genders with around 65 and 75 for male in 1995/2005, and almost 70 and 60 for females in 1995/2005.
On the other hand, the US and Australia had the lowest rate of male on a job with less then 60 in 1995, but in 2005 the UK took over the last place followed by Australia. Moreover the rate of women working is the lowest in Newzealand in 1995 and Australia in 2005 with 20 and 40.
