Overall, the expenditure on five consumer goods was greater in the United States than in Spain. The figure for transportation spendings was the biggest for both countries. Spain’s expenses was the least for medicine, while the US’ for clothes.
According to the chart, the American spent $450000 on transportation, while the Spanish expensed $400000. Furthermore, expenditure on books in the US was $300000 which was double of that in Spain. Likewise, the Spanish allocated $100000 for medicine, while in the US this figure tripled.
On the other hand, the amount of money paid out on remaining good was higher in Spain. $350000 was spent on technology in Spain, which was slightly higher than $300000 spent in the US. A little bit above $350000 accounted for the Spanish expenditure on clothes, with around $175000 spent by the American.
