In 2009, Darwin and Brisbane both accounted for 75% of water level; however, in Octover 2010 Brisbane witnessed a large rise in water level in the reservoirs, accounting for 100%, whereas Darwin increased only for 5%. In October 2009, Melbourne and Sydney stood at 35% and 49%, respectively. In 2010, however, Melbourne rose up to 45%, but Sydney remained unchanged.
Canberra stood at 50% in 2009 and then experienced a large increase, contributing 73% in 2010. Perth, on the other hand, witnessed a slight drop from 51% in 2009 to 26% in 2010.
