The bar graph compares how many apps that were sold in three various stores, iOS App Store, Google Play Amazon and Appstore over 5-year period (2010-2014).
Overall, it can be clearly seen that, in terms of the number of apps sold, they followed almost the same upward pattern during the whole period. It should be also noted that, while the total number of apps sold grew significantly in iOS Store and Google Play Amazon, but App Store saw a slight climb in that between 2010 and 2014.
As for iOS App Store, there was a sharp rise in the number of apps sold, which stood at nearly 175000 in 2010, and went up considerably to 1.2 million in 2014. Similarly, the total number of apps sold in Google Play Amazon, which stood at almost 25000, skyrocketed to 1,35 million, ending the period as the most apps sold store in 2014, whereas it was regarded as the 2nd least number of apps sold store in 2010.
However, as for AppStore, there was an insignificant increase in terms of the number of apps sold, which stood at approximately 10000 in 2010, and had grown slightly to about 275000 by 2014. It ended as the least one among the other two stores in 2014.
