The graph gives the amount of electric car sales in USA, Germany, and Japan through the years 2018-2022.
Overall, electric car sales per year are increased in all three countries. The leader of the chart (USA) did not vary at any time point, but the second place changed once in 2021 (from Japan to Germany).
Electric cars sold in USA increased by a quarter in the first year of the study. After that, it rose with a constant rate of 50 cars per year, resulting as the top-seller among the 3 countries.
In terms of Germany, despite starting as the country with the lowest amount of sales, by a consistent and increasing positive performance, it resulted as the country with the second most sales yearly. At the end of 4 years, it doubled its initial value from 80 to 160 cars.
Japan, failing to perform a promising increase in sales, resulted as the country with the least sales per year. Other countries succesfully managed to show an increase of at least 2-fold (USA even exceeded it), but Japan was only able to demonstrate a raise of 30 percent, making its yearly sales 130 cars at the end of the time period.
