This bar graph illustrate the number of female students per hundred male students admited to the school education.There are three levels of eduction in developing nad developed countries from the year 1990 and 1998 .
The vertical axis represent the amount of students and the horizontal axis represent the different school levels and the type of the country. Overall it’s evident that developed countries consistently had higher enrollement of girls compared to developing countries in all levels of education, Additionally it is also clear that the number of enrollements are also higher in all three stages in 1998 compared to 1990.
In primary education developing countries saw an increase from 83 female students per 100 male students in 1990 to 87 in 1998 whereas developed nations maintained figures close to the target with 95 in 1990 and 96 in 1998. In a similar trend the figures of secondary education in developing country increased from 72 to 82 from 1990 to 1998 but the developed countries have almost reached the target only falling short .
However in tertiary education the developed countries have exceeded the target in both 1990 and 1998 marking 105 and 112 respectively in 1990 and 1998. In conclusion while the developed countries showed progress over the period in all three sectors of education the developing countries portrayed a significant drop specially in tertiary education.
