Almost 25 and 27 million households earned less than 25 k$ and 25-50 k$ respectively. They increased to approximately 29 and 30 million households in 2011. On the contrary, in 2011, the number of households who earned more than 100 k$ decreased slightly to around 27 million households, and under 15 million households earned 75-100 k$.
in 2015, the largest amount of households earned more than 100 k$. it was about 33 million. Almost 15 million households were paid 75- 99 k$ and the number of households with 25- 49 and less than 25 k$ decreased to about 29 and 28 million. During the period the number of households who earned 50-75 k$ remained unchanged at about 21 million households.
