The chart illustrates the number of immigrants to Germany by six regions namely Oceania, Europe, Africa , America, East and South Asia in 2010 and in 2020.

Overall, the immigrants from Europe remained the largest category through out both the time periods. On the other hand South asia remains the lowest of all catergories in both time periods. Meanwhile, East Asia records a significant increase in the numbers, similarly Oceania data also shows a rise in immigrants in latter year. In contrary, America graph depicts a downfall on movement of people to Germany.

In 2010, Europe still contributed about 25 millions of migration to Germany. Compared to 2000 the number have dropped from 30 millions, but still occupies the highest category overall. Oceania and East Asia numbers have been spiked around 8 millions and 9 millions respectively, contributing to second largest in data.
