The amount of males enrolled in full-time education oscillated between the three periods from 1 million to around 900 thousand. Meanwhile, the number of men in part-time education increased steadily throughout the periods from approximately 100 thousand to almost 300 thousand.
In the other hand, the amount of females enrolled in full-time education escalated from around 780 thousand to almost 1180 thousand between the three portions of time. Likewise, the number of women in part-time studies swelled from approximately 50 thousand to around 240 between 71/1970 to 91/1990.
