This report aims to present how many employees in 5 distinct types of occupation in an area of Australia from 2001 to 2008.
Overall, it can be obvious that there was a downward trend in the number of workers in all occupations, whereas the opposite was true for Computing and Nursing. It is also worth highlighting that Sales attracted the largest number of workers in Australia in 2 years.
This analysis will begin with the categories that had higher values for 2001. In terms of Sales, there was near parity between 2001 and 2008, at approximately 160 thousand, becoming the dominant figures for all fields of work. Concurrently, regarding Accounting, the figures for 2001 were nearly identical to those for 2008, at around 61 thousand, respectively. Regarding Farming, there was a minimal decrease of around 20 thousand in the number of workers.
Attention will now move on to the remaining subjects where the values for 2008 were higher. In reference to Computing, workers in 2001, at exactly 80 thousand, minimally eclipsed that in 2008, at 60 thousand. As for Nursing, the number of employees increased insignificantly from 59 thousand to exactly 60 thousand.
