The line graph gives information about how many people used mobile phones of three distinct phone companies in Montreal over a five-year period between 2010 and 2015.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was an upward trend in the figures of two major companies, except Samsung which experienced fluctuation followed with a small decrease in the middle of the period. It is also noticeable that among all companies, Apple was leading with a gradual increase throughout the period in question.
To start with, Apple company was very popular among consumers, with around 35 million people buying in 2010. Over the years, it continued attracting more and more consumers, increasing almost up to 68 million by 2015. Talking about Samsung, it was the second most used smartphone among people. Trend for this company fluctuated a bit, reaching a peak of 47 million people before falling again to almost 44 million users. Even though, this company saw a decrease in the number of users, it remained to be the second most preferred one.
In terms of Nokia, by 2012, it experienced a steady increase from 16 million to 39 million consumers. After that period, figures of this company remained relatively unchanged with just a small increase of 5 million in number by the end of the period
