Overall, it is evident that considerable part of female students studied arts, whereas science studies were more opted for by men. Additionally, medicine was prevalent for both gender in first year of university.
It is clearly seen that women undergraduates mostly studied in arts made up approximately 5,000, compared with 2,000 of men students. Simultaneously, medicine and languages reached same number of female learners, accounted for 4,100 of women students, respectively. In comparison, these categories constituted approximately 3,000 and 1,500 of male undergraduates.
In contrast, science education was only category where rate of males were dominant, accounted for 4,500, while females less interested in science and reached only 2,000 of students. In the same year, both gender constituted comparable number of learners in maths and law around 3,000 and 2,000, respectively.
