The bar graph indicates the total number of trips made by children in one country in 1990 and 2010 to travel to and from school, with children aged 5-12. The numbers are mentioned in millions.
As we observe, in 1990 the number of trips per year by car passengers were above 4 million, trips taken by walking were around 12 million approximately, on the other hand, the trips taken by cycle were 6 million or more, trips around one country taken by walking and bus were less than 6 million, and lastly, trips taken by bus were between 6 million and 8 million. Alternatively, in year 2010, the car passengers were up to 10 million and above, by walking trips taken were 6 million, while by cycling the number of trips were 2 million, the number of trips taken by walking and bus were around 3 million nearly, and lastly, the trips taken by the bus were 5 million approximately.
From the above discussion, we conclude that by comparing the number of trips in 1990 and the number of trips in 2010, there was a lot of difference. The car passengers were rapidly increased in 2010 compared to 1990. For walking, cycling, walking and bus, and bus, it was fallen in 2010 compared to 1990.
