The bar graph compares the proportion of sales in the drug industry within three continents from 2002 to 2006.
Overall, all three countries saw upward trends with decreases ,except Asia. Sales in America saw almost a downward trend except for an increase in the final years, whereas the opposite trend can be seen in Asia which began the year with the lowest figures and finished the highest. Sales in Europe were unstable with declines and increases.
It is clear that, in 2002 America was the dominant country in terms of drug sales with 41% before a sharp decrease in 2003 to 35%. Drug sales in Asia made up at 25% which was relatively low of all continents in the beginning. However, this proportion increased in 2003 to 30%. Europe saw almost no difference in sales from 34% in 2002 to 35% in 2003.
As for details in 2004, sales in Asia and Europe showed significant changes, the former 35% and the latter 38%. In the final year, costs of drug in America and Europe were on par with 30 % of the column. In contrast, Asia ended the year up with the highest sales (40%).
