The bar chart illustrates how much fuel taken from renewable energy utilized in six different transportation sector among EU countries between 2009 and 2010, compared to the average.
Overall, the figure for Slovakia saw a noticeable decrease, while the reverse was true for Greece fuel. It is also worth noting the figure for Slovakia remained the highest despite seeing a decline.
Looking at the decreasing trends first, at the initial year the proportion of Slovakian fuel decreased for 2% making up 7.5% in 2010. While, the figure for Austria decreased approximately 1%, the percentage of fuel remained unchanged throughout period making up 5.1% and 6% respectively.
When it comes to increasing trends, the index of fuel in Poland increased gradually starting from 5% to 6%. The figure for Greece and EU average increased nearly same pace but varying degrees from approximately 1.1% and 4% to 2% and nearly 4.9% correspondingly. In addition, the figure for Spain increased dramatically started from 3.5% to 5.9%.
