The pie chart illustrates the proportion of international students at Tertiary level in 9 different global destinations in 2006.
On the whole, it can be clearly seen from the chart that the U.S. had the biggest figure without all other countries.
In detail, looking at the rate of the U.S., it recorded 22% and no category which was except for all other categories showed as a great figure as this. The second largest figure was the percentage of the U.K with 14%. The proportion of two countries, France and Germany had the same trend with a tenth, followed by Australia with 7%. It is interesting to note that these 4 categories regardless of Australia together made up more than half of all international students.
Turning to the other categories, China and Japan accounted for 6% and 5% respectively. The least figure among 10 different global destinations was the proportion of Canada with 3%.
