The chart below depicts the percentage of immigrants from 6 regions in 1987 and 1997. Total share has declined in 3 regions, meanwhile in 3 others it has increased.
In both years the highest percentage was reached by Europeans, regardless it has decreased in chosen time lapse. In 1987 portion of European migrants has approximately amounted 33 percent. Conversely, the proportion of North and South Americans was the lowest both times. Additionally, it has even reduced, but this change was the tiniest one, and amounted around 1 percent.
Only once the percentage was equal. It has happened in 1987, when the share of Middle East and North Africa Northeast Asia was the same. The highest rise was owned by Northeast Asia. If in 1987 it took only 15%, by the next research it has reached 24 percents. In other words, if in the first survey it shared fourth place, in the next one it was the second.
