Overall, the number of percentage of North America’s population in all three years is the highest and Africa is the lowest. The percentage of living people in urban areas of Oceania experienced a downward in 2020 and increased in 2050, while the figures of other countries and world shows upward from 1975 to 2050.
The number of percentage of Asia’s population in urban areas in 1975 was approximately the same as Africa, but later living people’s percentage increased more compare to Africa. In addition, the biggest change was in Asia from 1975 to 2020 approximately 25 percentages increased, while the smallest change was Oceania in 35 years in about 1-2 percentages decreased.
Also, in the chart shown a predicted number of population in urban areas of the world and seven regions in 2050. And all numbers of percentage of predicted population increased from 2020.
