It is obvious that the ratio of Northen Ireland’s rivers stayed constant about 86 between 1990 and 1998 before rose to 95 in 2000, then came back stability in 2002 with same data. It is similar to England rivers which increased in 45 in 1990, then reached a peak about 68 by 1996. This trend had a steep decline to 30 after 2 years, however, it came back to 49 in 2002. Scotland also rose from 22 in 1990 to 30 by 1992. This figure reamain stable about 30 until 4 years after 1992.
