Overall, it is clear that the figures had the slight fluctuations, increasing and then decreasing. While the women consumed the highest amount of fruits and vegetables in whole the period, the percentage of children recorded the lowest.
Looking first at the given chart, the figure for women was more than twice that for children over the period. In 2002, the surveyed percentage of women possesed the highest consumption of fruits and vegetables , at roughly 25%, compared with the propotion of children, at only over 10%. The following 8 years, the two categories had a slight fluctations, increasing in 2006 and decreasing moderately in 2010. From 2006 to 2010, females consumed accurately the standard of fruits and greens was 33% and 27% respectively, while, young people had a lower proportion corresponding to 17% and roughly 14%.
By comparison, the males was the second highest percentage consumed the reccommend daily fruits and vegetables. The figure for males in 2002 stood at 22% and then increased slightly at 28% in 2006. Besides, that for men experienced the decrease in 2010, at about 24%.
