The bar chart illustrates the proportion of youths out of work between 15 and 24 years old and compares with the total unemployment in five particular countries in 2005.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that the percentage of unemployment among the young is always higher than the overall. Also, the most significant jobless young people rate can be seen in Poland while there was the lowest in Denmark.
To be more specific, the unemployment of young individuals rates reached a peak of approximately 37% and 23% in Poland and Italy respectively. Furthermore, Hungary and Germany witnessed roughly three times higher youth unemployment rates in comparison with Denmark only over 5%.
The overall percentage of jobless rates, in Poland stood at 15%, threefold higher than in Denmark which hit a trough at a meager 3%. Meanwhile, Germany saw a noticeable growth at 11%, whereas Italy and Hungry exhibited a reduction in trends at around 8% and 6% respectively.
