The bar chart gives information of household waste recycled in terms of plastic, cans, paper and glass. The data is presented for the years 1992, 1997 and 2002, with percentage serving as the unit of measurement.
Overall, all figures underwent crucial changes, but plastic is exception. Of particular note, glass, paper and cans experienced superior increase throughout whole period, while plastic remained relatively stable.
Beginning with the plastic, it changed from 10% to 12% and remained last 5-year period stable, while cans went both up and down from 18% to 14% and at the end with 22%.
In 1992, both figures of paper and glass were the same, with 14%; notably, paper was higher rather than glass with either 32% or 28%. At the end, glass climbed above paper to 48%, while paper went up until 40%, respectively.
