The flow chart depicts how waste paper is recycled. Overall, the linear process of recycling waste paper consists of six stages, beginning with the waste paper collection and ending with the usable paper creation.
At the initial stage of the process, used paper is collected from either public paper banks or businesses. After which it continued to be classified by workers, and inappropriate paper is extracted. For the third stage, the paper will be delivered to paper mill and prepared for the next stages.
At the paper mill, the paper is cleaned and pulped, this step also involves getting rid of other materials such as staples. The procedure continue with a step called ‘de-inking’ where all inks and glues are going to be removed from the paper. At the final stage, the paper will be put into a machine, and then new paper finally manufactured and organized to be used again.
