Overall, the highest percentage of people worked in UK’s public sector was over 50. By contrast, the percentage of under 21 people who worked UK’s public sector was lowest in 2015.

In terms of employing people, the percentage of 21- 30 years ages people who worked UK’s public sector was 23% in 2015. This figure increased to 33% in 2020,a rice of 10% people over a period of 5 years. Similarly, the percentage of 41-50 years employees increased by 9% from 19% to 28%.
