The pie chart shows what percentage of Brighton University graduates in 2019 began working at different employment industries.
Service industry was the employment sector with highest employment rate, surprisingly doubling it’s closest competitor, manufacturing industry. Along with Manufacturing industry, Politics& government and education are the only industries with over one tenth of the overall employees, excluding Service Industry .
Beginning with 4 sectors with greatest employment shares, Service Industry topped every other sector staggeringly accounting for one thirds of the total employees. Manufacturing industry rather distantly followed it with 16.3 percent. Education sector came third hiring 14.7 percent of the 2019 Brighton University graduates. Politics & government, on the other hand, employed 12.1 percent.
Employment sectors with lowest appliances were Transportation and warehousing, civil service, charity, science, sports and other unspecified industries. Transportation and warehousing hired 7.8 percent and was extremely closely followed by Science with 7.3 percent. After these two came Civil services with 5.6 of all employees. Sports, charity and other non namely mentioned sectors, however, all hired less than 3 percent of employees with Sports having the smallest portion (0.1 percent).
