The chart above describes the data about world’s oil resources that are held in different areas, alongside with the oil resources annual consumption data from each areas.

Overall, the data shows that world’s oil resources percentage is not spread evenly in certain region. The same case also applies to annual world’s oil consumption percentage.

Starting from the Middle east, it has the highest percentage of world’s oil resources among other region with 56,52%, but the world annual oil consumption is preferably low compared to others. In the other hand, Asia has the highest percentage of total world annual oil consumption with 26.21% while having a very low amount of oil resources but not as low compared to Australia and New Zealand.

As already mentioned above that Australia and New Zealand being the lowest oil stock described in the chart, both also have the lowest percentage of world annual oil consumption only with 1.31%. And for Central and South America, Eastern europe, and Africa indicates to have a balance between oil resources and consumption.
