The two pie charts compare the proportion of people who use bicycle or car to work for different reasons.
It is noticeable that the most people cycling to work because of their health and fitness or reduce pollution. Meanwhile the greatest number of people choose driving to work as its comfort.
As regard, the percentage of reason why people opt for cycling accounts for 30% of their health and fitness, the same level as the figure for improving air quality. Similarly, a quarter of peoples think about parking problem when choosing travel to work by bike, compare to 13% of its free and 12% of its greater speed than car.
Turning to the reasons for driving, the majority of reason when people opt for driving is its comfort, representing 40% of total. Remaining, the percentage of drivers chooses car since the distance when going to work accounts for over one out of ten. By contrast, only 14% of people travelling to work by car because of the need to carry things to work and faster than bicycle, compared with 11% of choosing for their safety.
