The graph illustrates the expectations of young people in Europe in five different aspects of life in the following 20 years.
Overall, the majority of areas of life are forecast to be deteriorating, except for social interactions. Noticeably, young people on this continent have more negative anticipation about air quality in the next two decades.
Regarding the quality of body intakes, air quality is predicted to receive the highest negative outlook from young Europeans (70%), while just a third of them believing it will improve. Similarly, but to a lesser extent, can be seen in the figure for water quality, with 60% versus 40%. Conversely, the positive projection of food quality will be slightly higher than that of negative, with 51% and 49%, respectively.
As for the remaining categories, communication between individuals is believed to be better in the next 20 years, at 54%. Finally, health is forecasted to rank in the third highest pessimist expectations (58%), compared to slightly over 40% of people who believe in the opposite way.
